ok. Testing out some ideas and i just would like some help...Of course you guys probably know i have a 440 with a blown motor.

Question: If i bought a 550 or a 650 kawi motor, What all would i need to make it run in my 440 body? I'm guessing the 550 would just run on my electronics i have in there? But if i found a 650 what would i need to change?

Thanks guys

With a 550 you need nothing, all electrics interchange as does the exhaust and carb and intake, it will of course run better with a 44 carb and intake and a 550 exhaust.

yupp sometime this summer we should go ride somewhere i find it boring cause i am always riding alone.

Do you have an extra ski? lmfao my motors blown or i'd love to ride with you! I have some guy i met, he's going to be bringing his parts ski up to my lake house on sunday to see if i can take his motor. So summers closing out and i start school August 11 :( I'll still be available on most weekends tho, (until it starts to get cold)

well i blew a cylinder at the end of last year...i took it to my local Repair shop and the kid that built it when i first got it said that it wouldnt be a big deal to rebuild. Well a couple months go buy and the kid hasnt showed up for work, no one can get ahold of him so i just blew it off. Well my ski is just sitting behind the shop for 6 for months. The parts come in and finally the owner just says whatever and he'll try to fix it. When he took the top end off, My crankcase was blown, both my cylinders were blown, the casing for the cylinders were cracked. So yeah....all from just riding in circles on a lake. I'm also looking for a SJ, that one in Indy that we both wrote on would be a pretty good one. It's got a 701, you can have it if you have the cash. I'm broke lol

in order to use a 650, you need to take apart the electrical box, and put the 650 elec. inside. also, you can buy bed plates that are for 440 to 650 conversion. i think their about 50-100 bucks. if you are handy at all, you can mod a stock one its been done, but only worth the effort if you can get the parts ski for cheap or free.
exhaust should be easy with rear exit, it will just make a 180 turn around the gas tank. sounds easy nuff right?

My Exhaust runs like a normal exhaust with the waterbox in the nose in front of the tank. Do you know where i could find the conversion Bed plate?
Thanks for the imput!
