Need cheap paint

I've got a sprayer so I'm going to spray it. Was looking at TSC the other night at some Enamel tractor paint there. Was thinking about giving it a try at $9 a quart. I want three colors and I'm looking at like $150-200 at the autostore for a single stage paint. This is a budget build...that's half the cost of the ski and trailer at this point. I hate to do that. I mulled around Duplicolors Paint Shop paint that's a laquer..but I'm mixed about what it'll do to the pain that's on it now.

Any thoughts for cheap paint?

ive heard good things about that TSC tractor enamel, the colors are limited, but a buddy painted a trailer ( car hauler) with it, and its held up really nice.

it doesnt have the depth and gloss of some paints, but its great for a budget 10 footer.

ask your paint store about u-tech

it's a polyurethane and it was recommended to me by my paint store. they have an epoxy primer too, and a quart of everything i needed, paint, catalyist, and the primer was like 70-80 bucks, I have already forgotten exactly.

well I went to auto store tonight that sold ppg and I explained I was on a budget and needed small amounts. The guy wanted the sale and worked with me to get the price down. I walked out with viper red, dodge glacier white, reducer, hardener, and clear for $130. Little more then I was going to spend, but I know it'll be better then my TSC job. I do think i'll hit the trailer with that though to get a feel for it.

This is for a beater Sport Cruiser I picked up with the trailer for $400 afterit sunk from a hole in the nose. Motor was salvaged and runs and I patched the hole and its about ready for paint.

Thanks for the recomendations.
