So it just clicks when you it the start button?
Did you check the connections at the electrical box? there are 2 red connections. 1 from starter to electrical box and 1 red from electrical box to battery. Check ground cable. If it's still clicking open the electrical box and check the starter relay posts. They some times become loose.

Check the battery first. Put a voltmeter across it and it should read 12.7 to 13.2 If it is like 11 or 10.5 then it is bad. If it appears good then press the start switch while reading the voltage, if it drops way down to like 10 or so then I would guess that you have a bad battery.

You could also try jumping the starter relay. The 2 posts for the starter relay come though the electrical box and use a screw driver to cross the 2 together. If it starts you have a bad relay or loose posts if not your problem is somewhere else.

Yep if jumping the posts on the relay does not help then it might be a bad positive wire or main ground wire at the starter. If they are good, it might be a bad starter.

Pull your plugs and see if it cranks. That will tell you if there is water in it. My GF did that to her SJ so I had to turn it over counter clockwise and then start it to avoid a tow in.
