I just got the engine into one of my X2's that sank completely last year and it rips. I got my other X2 goin strong too. I never thought that id get the engine in the ski before the Lanier Ride.

How many of you are cuttin it close when it comes to finishing the ski for the riot ride?

I replaced a bad Advent ignition in one of my skis, put a start/stop switch on the other one, and bought two shiny new fire extinquishers just tonight.

Not exactly nail-biting.

I just replaced my plug wires tonight. I did it myself instead of sending to jetskisolutions, total cost $14 and 1 hour of my time.

I still need to hook up my trim again, retorque the head, freshen up a few things on the trailer, but overall I'm in good shape.

I got to see freestyleriverrat's buildoff ski today. He's under the gun, but has all his parts so he should have it done.

Just finished mine. Yeah right!!! I went to fire it up and the starter is bad:banghead: Trying to get one worked out. Should have known better. It was questionable last year.

Mine's almost running - got to grab some jets off Paul and put the carbs back in Thursday evening. Suzi's ski isn't doing so well. It started the weekend running, but ended the weekend as an empty shell - dead motor mounts! I'll be putting the motor back in Thursday evening (thanks again to Paul who's bringing mounts for me). So, I guess driving to Lanier with 2 skis, neither of which are running, is cutting it kind of close.
