My winter build...refoam, scuppers, side exhaust, footholds. NEED ADVISE!!!

So this winter Id like to factory pipe my ski. Also an aluminum waterbox to a blowsion exhaust exit. I plan to remove the tube from under the tray. Also, Im refoaming. My questions are...

Ive heard something about polystyrene. Is this waterproof and where can I get it? If it is waterproof, can I install it and then install scuppers in the bottom of the hull so if water leaks it drains out?

What is a good AL waterbox for a SN. Id like to reduce weight. I'm looking for something easy to hook up to a side exhaust in particular.

Polystyrene is insulation for houses. It comes in 4x8 sheets at home depot/ lowes. It won't absorb water like 2 part foam, but doesn't offer structural support. It will allow water to drain out if you have a drain plug.

So just some plastic drain screws? Has anybody went this route? Even if i have to reinforce the tray slightly to compensate for the structural loss, itll be worth it to me in the end because ill never have to refoam.
