my superjet motor confuses me?

I have a 96 rn which i thought came with a 701 right? started working on my ski, pulled my motor apart to redo/pump it up, well i discovered that i have a 6m6 case and crank, 61x cylinder, 62t rods and intake, running stock 38s with a bpipe and protec head.

can anyone tell me what my engine is putting out? performance wise and why it is all mismatched? :ugh:

its my first super that ive had for about 18 months, so im not the pro on what goes on under the hood.

You very likely have the proper 62T cases. The bottom half is labeled 6M6, that's normal.
Sounds like a regular SJ motor.

ok well i have a 62t top case... this is common to have 6m6 bottom case and 62t top case? i read a thread that said 6m6 was 650, 61x was early 701 and 62t was later 701?

The bottom case halve is identical between the 650, 701, and 760 motor and hasn't changed since the 650.
It is not only common - you will not find any other bottom half.

The crank and rods are all the same for all years of superjets 650 or 701. Same 68mm stroke for all years so you are good to go with the proper engine for that ski. 96+ SJs to present all come with 62t cases and 61x cylinders.
