My 750 freestyle build

This is my first freestyle build. I have an 07 sxr and I wanted a project to work on this winter, so I got this with watercraft factory head, factory exhaust mani and wet pipe, 44 mm buckshot carb, wf intake, solas prop, wf ride plate and scoop, and an msd ignition. I dont know too much about these mods on the 750 but I hear it should be pretty good. Let me know what you guys think. THanks wayne

This thing was ugly when I got it but getting those stickers off sure cleaned her up. My favorite part was getting the footholds in. I was jacked.

I did all the work myself besides my friend showing me how to clearcoat for the first time. I had soo much fun, I was thinking of dropping out of school and doing this for a living. lol

wow, looks real good. how did you like removing those tubes to get the footholds in. i remember doing that on my sxi, they were a pain.

Thanks for the comments, Yeah the tubes sucked, I had to use a saw zall and cut them to where I needed.

Does anyone know what to clear coat my polished ac handle pole with, or should I not coat it at all????

Thanks guys, I just got the tray turf'd yesterday and man was that a pain with the footholds. All I need to do is the rest of the turf and then figure out what to do with the handle pole, any suggestions?????? Do I clear it with the same stuff as the body and hull or what??

Finally finished!

Just waiting on the hood straps and bow eyes from blowsion (2 weeks late). Took it out 3 weeks ago and it rips. The pics were before the Handlepole was back together.

Yeah the turf was the hardest thing so far, I spent a few hours just on the foot tray. I didn't realize how hard footholds are to turf.

I don't much care for the blue green combo... I think it would have looked better all blue. That is an awesome shade! Especially when it was still matte looking.

Awesome job on that turf though man. It's really admirable!
