Motorized beach cart

I bought this 1971 Playcat amphibious tracked vehicle a few weeks ago and I'm thinking its going to become a beach cart for my superjet. I think I'm just going to bolt a couple bunks on the back almost like a hitch hauler and keep it simple. Kinda excited to use it come spring. Posted a link of me taking it for a spin.

It has a Kohler 400 twin cylinder 2 stroke (the later models had the 440). Basically the same as what you would have found in any sled back in the day. Has a CVT clutch set-up and has clutches and brakes on the driveshaft that control steering. You turn the bars and it opens the clutch and applies the brake to one track, allowing it to turn. I'm in love with this thing. Obviously its a similar concept as an Argo, but an Argo just doesn't have the vintage appeal that this thing does.

@MCrider, tracks aren't very aggressive, but I was shocked how well it did in the powder. Had it in knee deep snow in the mountains and never got stuck. They are original and dry cracked so hopefully they don't completely fall apart anytime soon. As you can imagine replacements aren't available.

It's gonna be an even better beach cart now that it'll have a superjet on the back and a mini boat behind :)
