Motor pukeing something.

Fired it up to head to ocean, no problem get there and all it does is click:crutches: pull plug and see something, SteveOwe let me ride is ski in the ocean though so it was a great trip after all. I thought the motor was rock solid, been running like a champ all summer long and now it decides to go, at least its not may :439: and it can come out and get rebuilt. Also glad it didn't go to someone else then blow up! This is a bone stock 61x motor with a b pipe. Nothin special. More pics posted, both sides of the skirt are gone. Couldn't feel any play in the rods up and down, left and right there is a little.

Overheating, impact damage and excessive clearance.

Excessive clearance will result in slightly greater piston rocking, thereby even more accelerated ring wear and piston skirt collapse.
