milled head question...

me and mouthfulloflake were looking at my orange ski (701sj) which has a milled head, and got only 150psi hot on each cylinder... is this right?

His worn out 650 with a pipe and head donkey stomped my 701 with a milled head and pipe, and we both agreed that my orange ski was a ******king dog, even compared to his 650

150 hot isn't too bad, what's it when it's cold? How much was the head milled?

Even with a tired top end you should be able to keep up easily with a 650... I'd guess your tuning isn't correct (carbs/exhaust).

BEE pipe and front+ back exhaust, modified single carb.

I forgot to mention I have a 1996 Yamaha Superjet that I need to sell. It has everything you need including footholds, handholds, wamiltons hood, nose piece, scupper valve, milled head, aluminum handlpole, single 44, rebuilt intermediate shaft housing, brand new prop, intake grate, rideplate, umi steering, and modified msd. It has a brand new top end and the crank is in great condition. It has a brand new stock exhaust on it right now or I can put a b pipe on it.

what the hell is a modified MSD?

id guess he means modified cdi? or is it an enhancer?

that ski isnt even as strong as my black boat, and the black boat has 150 psi with a westcoast head! ( very poor ring seal) and single carb 61x.

does the enhancer sit in the black box in the ski? I'll open it up and look at it.

Regardless, that ski needs a ''freshening up''

yes, its inside the black box.

stock CDI is black.

MSD is red.
