Been watching this thread for a while now since finding XH20..

http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/2493

I thought to try the law of average's to help find some size references,
according to the information presented in the thread ,this is what i found..

lows 115
highs 115
n/s 2.0
spring 90
p/o 21

I did this to find a trend , not an exact science ,but a starting point for my ski..( i'm going to port soon with RACE LOGIC'S template).

IMT also to build in a safety margine of say 15% to the rich side for the highs and go from there..
this would be now a safe 133 on the highs..
leaving the lows at the averaged 115, n/s at a solid 2.0 and the spring's 90...

ANY THOUGHT ON THIS???sounds logical anyway as a starting point.

It would be cool for you to post your final sizes here in this tread and then I could average these out.

Put bigger mains in. I run a portjob that's somewhat based on a sport port, and mine are jetted at 115p, 122.5m, 32psi popoff.

You have to make sure you're comparing apples to apples, meaning oem versus regular Mikuni's, plus every engine is going to be different so you should always do a proper tuning process.

matt e,the percentage built into the safety factor does bring the highs in at above your high's settings, with the popoff being the only other difference.. thanks!!
I hope to get this closer to THE ideal starting point with more numbers pluged in....

waxhead,I know the thread mentioned above was working within the two types,o/e's and aftermarket...though it looks as if it did lean more to FINDING workable o/e specs.
YES, your totally correct , no engine/ski, will run its best with a 'standardized' setup.. thats near impossible.. this was intended to refine the various #'s presented into a 'working' standard... with a safety factor built into it at the start..

thanks waxhead and matt e, this is the refinement of numbers I'm looking for..
hopefully this will help other users of these carbs, on twins, into the ballpark with an initial tune spec.

IMT The tripple cyl YAMI ski's have a basic SET,as in reguards to this ..On the GHYami, you can ask 'What's a base set up to go with, if i have these pieces on my ski?" and more than 3/4 of the time you would get numerous members to chime in with the same basic data. as a base starting point...

I know where I'll start at...115 low,125 highs,2.0 n/s,90 spr's...
