I might be able to pick up another fx1 hull here soon. I found one (actually it found me) that has the beginnings of a pump swap on it. The owner also has a sn hull and sj pump. I am definitely going to buy the hull if I can, I am also considering the sn hull and pump if I can manage the extra cash.
The current owner was going to cut the pump area from the sn and swap it onto the fx1 for the pump. I thought I saw a post about somebody doing or talking about doing this.
So my question is, if I can get the sn hull to do this, should I? The fx1 hull only has the pump shoe removed and a little grinding done, so I am still able to the pump swap the normal way.
