Midshaft spacer or some kind of other solution

So I am swapping a mag pump in my bob from a stock stator, set setup is odd already. Currently had a 08+ driveshaft with a gp1200 or gp760 midshaft. I forget which midshaft but it is the really short one with the splines all the way up front. With the stock stator the drive shaft bottoms out on the coupler face through the midshaft, this is with using two washers on the midshaft in between the coupler. Now after trying to fit the new mag pump, it bottom out even sooner, leaving a gap between the stator and wear ring of about 5-6mm. Is there anything I can use to space the midshaft housing out away from the bulkhead? I don't want to add any washers as I am losing spline engagement. Any help is appreciated. I attached a pic of the gap and then pulled the midshaft assembly for a pic .

Sounds like you need to shorten the driveshaft ?
Sasquatch on this site can do it.. you could prolly do it yourself? Cut off wheel and a grinder and belt sander ?

Do you have the spacer for the solas ? Mine had one, can’t remember if it wend under the seal or between stator and wear ring or stator and reduction nozzle ? Wasn’t enough to fix your situation thought, think it was around 2-3mm thick ?

I don’t see it anymore when I search it, my pump was from 2013

Found it, was for use with stock reduction nozzle, so it’s not related
