How do I go about measuring the CC volume of a stock head that has been shaved/milled??

I pulled apart a motor that had a milled head and a O ring groove machined in it and want to know the volume amount. Im going to sell the head and would like to tell the buyer what size it is.

Is it as simple as putting the plug in, covering the head with a piece of plexglas and filling it up with a CC syrenge? Measure how much you put in it?
Or do I leave the spark plug out and measure it by filling to the bottom of the spark plug threads in the head?

Best way would be to actually CC the dome. The kits come with a graduated burette, but you should be able to get pretty close with a syringe. Put the plugs in and a piece of plexiglass with a small hole in the middle of it across the dome, and fill until there is no air left.

That should work.

That is what I have done.

I use water proof grease around the head to seal it up so the plexi glass stays put, drill the hole close to the edge so you can get all the air bubbles out.
