low compression

What performance changes occur when you have low compression? I had 120-125 on a stock ski. Ski started easily and ran well. The engine seemed to pull fine and I couldn't detect any decreased performance with the low compression. I'll be looking for the culprit soon.

Honestly, I'd be looking at your compression gauge first. After repeated low readings from cheap but new gauges I finally invested in a snap-on gauge and was amazed at how innaccurate others gauges were.

It will get hard to start
when my Kawi 750sx was at 120, you had to roll the exhaust pipe out of the water to get it to run

Low end suffers when the engine has lower-than-normal compression.
