Lord Mounts on Mod pipe

I don't have the top L bracket for my mod pipe and I've seen a few pics of motors only using the one lord mount on the flywheel bracket. Does any one have experience running their mod pipe this way

Bend a piece of steel and make your own.

X2 on what @Quinc said. Bent a piece of stainless and drilled some holes in it for mine.
