Has anybody mesaured the average displacement of water that a superjet or similar that is fully submerged and filled with water displaces? I estimated my SN at roughly 18 cubic feet in size 7'x16"x2', but my math is telling me that a ready to ride ski with full tank of fuel (300lbs) would only displace in the neighborhood of 4.8 cubic feet of fresh water, (if it were neutrally buoyant), but since they sink, it must displace less water. (denser materials/size of object)
