Looking for allen bolts

I am looking for three 10 x 40 x 1.25 stainleess allen head bolts for my head pipe on my factory b pipe. Where can you find these? They seem to be a white elephant.

You can also use OEM Yamaha bedplate bolts. They are nickel-plated (chrome) and as corrosion-resistant if not more than stainless. Also, they will not react as quickly with aluminum like stainless does (and they are cheap and easy to find). I believe there is one on every 650, 701, and 760 motor in the center mounting point of the bedplates and also, OEM 650, 701, and 760 exhaust mounting brackets use them too.

Here is the end all cheap solution for everyone wanting B-pipe Stainless Socket Head Cap Screws!!!!

An eay thing to do is this (if you have a little time that is).....

Order at Mcmaster:

91292A223 - Metric 18-8 Ss Socket Head Cap Screw, M10 Thread, 100MM Length, 1.5MM Pitch (pack of 5)

2573A58 - M10 x 1.25 mm die

The socket head screws are longer than needed (100mm overall length). Cut the bolt length down to about 45mm. Round the shank slightly so the die starts easily and then thread the die squarely onto the shank. Use some cutting oil to help the process. Just be aware that the thread is 100% dependent on getting the die started squarely.

Easy as pie and you'll have 2 spares to sell to your friends.

Edit: Throw this in the tech section.
