Loctite quick stix

Anyone try this stuff in place of the normal red loctite? 271 or whichever other one you prefer... I have been using it... seems to work good.

Loctite = Good .I use it on every nut and bolt on my ski .it locks the threads and also keeps out corrosion and salt .

I've used the blue,red and high temp green with great results

yeah... was a little sceptical at first... but it has been holding up great...

I got it one time when I went to the store and they didnt have any more regular red loctite...

I read that if you touch the tip of the locktite ( liquid kind ) to metal, it ruins its quality? we used the liquid blue all last season, i might try the blue or red stick for this up comming.

Looks a lot less messy.

thats what I only use now. It does cost a little more up front but you don't waste alot like the old liquid when applying it to the bolt or nut
