I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea, I really do love this site. I've obtained a lot of knowledge from the members here and I've also ridden with a lot of people that I've come in contact with through this board. It's been a wonder tool/resource, and I thank everyone for it. :woot:
I do however have one thing that really frustrate me about this site.
When someone questions a well respected individual on this site, everyone rushes to their aid to chime in with a comment or two. Typical responses include "you were not around then, you don't know the half the of it", "he/she would never do anything like that", etc. Everyone on this site is human. Everyone makes mistakes because no one is perfect. Let the person who the question is directed to respond vs. the peanut gallery. Remember, there are many noob's who aren't as knowledgable as the next. Patience is key. The other item that I think many fail to realize is that becuase this is a bulletin board/discussion board, many individuals will respond to promote discussion (which may not necessarily be their personal view). I've personally done this so that hopefully out of the discussion, I may learn something new. If there is another way to do something, please, feel free to enlighten me and every other board member. We're always up for a new or different methodology.
Respectfully,
Doug
