Just a heads up Awlgrip is tough as nails but its hard to find (Jamestown Distributors has it) it require special awlgrip thinners and reducers and its expensive as fawk.

Its a form of PPG paint. Concept DCC is one of their single stage paints. Any PPG distributor can point you in the right direction.

just wondering has anyone ever tried Hammerite paint in the engine bay?

looks like it could work well cos it goes on with the hammered effect so is easy to apply

I've used it on the frame on my show truck, and it is very hard. My only complaint is that the "hammered black" comes out Gray. Never tried it on Glass.
