FX-1 Limited versus fx1 Chamber

Looking at pics of the chambers it seems that other than the dent in it, the chamber is just a shortend up limit chamber. Does anyone else know if this is true. Can you just get a limited chamber and cut some length out of it. Not as much as a mod. A mod was two inches out im thinking of cutting 1-1.5 inches

The shape is different as well......the curvature around the tank is sharper on the FX chamber. They will all fit if you run a SJ tank.

Ok sweet thanks. I was hoping to not have to change tanks as it makes it really tight in there doesnt it. I would run a limited pipe in a heartbeat but I read it makes it a total swine to fit

I think you'll find that the FX or Mod pipe work great with the smaller pump.

I run a 650 FP chamber in my FX. It fits great and still has a great "hit".

Been wondering the same thing, looking to run a ported 61X with girdled head (I would assume this is still more of a "limited" motor). Looking for strong bottom / mid punch...not really worried about top end. Also will be running a kawi 650 pump with an SXR cutback prop so hopefully it can take advantage of more low end punch!
