life jacket fit

So im looking at jetpilot life jackets and med is like 37-39 and lg is 39-41

My chest is like 38-39 im 6'4" and i weigh 180... anyone out there know what size i should get ....? im ordering online so i dont wanna get the wrong size

I am 5'7" and weigh about 155 and my chest measures about 42". I wear a medium. I want it to fit tight. I don't want it to ever slip up under my chin or slid around while riding.

A medium is gonna look like a bra on him and he won't be able to breathe in it after a couple of months of riding. Not to mention that Jet Pilot usually runs small, but that changes every year depending on where they outsource the production.

How can any company consider 39-41 someone with a large chest? Unless you are only selling to Japan...
