larger fuel filter okay???

hey lads

I bought a fuel filter however its volume is just under double of that of the fuel filter that was previously used.

my logic is, its just a filter, so volume cant be much of an issue right?

fuel pools inside, and thus will work.

can i get some oppinions on this?

the original filters is 3cm ( 1 and 1/4 inch ) and the new filter is 5.7cm ( 2 and 2/4 inch)


yeah i know i should use the other one but can i get away with this filter as i already bought it??????????????????????

the micron rating of the filter will determin if it is appropriate to use in any situation. Also consider the jet size in the carb. I would think any inline filter would work.
