Well, this is the first thread I have started here so if it is in the wrong place, sorry....

Just wanted to let the attendees of the upcoming ride now that the lake is about 5t feet low right now. The Corp of Engineers website says it only down about 2 fet, but I have had several friends ride there this past weekend and they all say it is low.

From what i understand there is some serious real estate at jet ski beach and the boat ramp on the other side where everyone puts in has about 10 to 15 feet of land before you get to the water....

Just giving everyone a heads up for this weekend

See ya'll Friday

The lake can be down 15 feet and not effect us a bit. It make for problems at Allatoona but not Lanier. All it will do is give us more space on the shoreline. :)

Is the corps keeping the lake down for some reason? I thought that there has been plenty of rain down there. All the lakes here have been up due to all the rain we have had recently.
