lake of the ozarks ride september 8-9

This is the first I heard about it but the little ones birthday is that weekend. I would Love to go I am really wanting to hit the Ozarks before the year is over BUT I just can't skip his 1st birthday. He will only turn one once...

meet me at the junction of 412 and 65 in harrison, I'll drive the rest of the way. Trust me, it's faster going that way. I've been both north on 71 to 44 and taken 412 to 65 to 44 to highway 5 in Lebanon MO

I had never made a post because the St. Louis crew would never respond to this trip. Looks like it will be me and my two boys 10 and 12. I have one other friend that is bringing a boat. We are staying at the motel. I don't know if Katie is going either. It is about a 5 1/2 to 6 hour trip for her. They have no idea how nice this lake is.

Bull Shoals is closer to us I think? I might look into that one too.

The St Louis crew needs to come to Beaver Lake in Ar, near the damn.

Hour and a half. Probably 3.5 hours for you total. Can set up base camp at my parents house and take one vehicle to the bull shoals dealy, which is less than an hour from the campground. We could go by water if you want to take a 60 mile ride by water but only have to drive 4 miles from my parents house to the other end of bull shoals. Those are some cool 2 lane country roads between Branson and where they are camping.

from harrison (it woudl be around 10 miles less because the junction is a few miles north of harrison)

I am thinking I might make the trip out there....its no worse than a nine hour ride to Georgia for a ski just to turn around and go straight to Rend to ride it :biggrin:

Yup. I was riding Bob's 800 then, I finally got one of my own, a 2000 SJ. You guys get the headgasket taken care of?

I would love to go to BS. but I'd have to take the old lady, which would require her to bring her brothers boat, blah, blah, blah. If I can get maria booked up on that weekend with something that doesn't require me, that would work. It seems lately that doesn't happen very often. Maria is cool but her parents got a new boat and we will be at the ozarks on 8/25 weekend and all is welcome to come and ride!

Yea the 2nd and 3rd sound good but as Wetbox stated I will have to clear the plans through my advisor *read wifey* to make sure I can come out an play that weekend. And John it does seem to change as soon as you get hitched doesn't it.... somethign about that ring around her finger through your nose.....LOL


WOW Mark If your "checking Katies schedule" that sounds like more than just a fellow rider of the StLouis crew. Which is really cool that means that she will be at every ride we have. She is a blast to hang around with and she rides a SUPERJET

So is there a congratulations in order on the new found relationship?? OR did I read into this wrong??
