the rubicon is the most famous trail in the world. the historic trail runs from georgetown all the way to tahoe. the cool part that we 4 wheel goes from Loon lake in Placerville to Tahoe. Placerville side is right off Highway 50 @ Icehouse road. The Tahoe side is just past emerald bay on the southwest shore. it used to be used as a passage back in the day. over time its erroded and been driven on and has become a really cool and tough rock crawling trail. it gets tougher every year. they have competitions in parts of it etc. there is one section my friends dad has pics of Model T fords passing through with ease, and now only the baddest rock buggies can make it through because the rocks in it now are the size of volkswagons lol.

and yes the jeep with the Az*Hi*Az*I*Am sticker on the back is me.

Cool, did you stop by Cantina 4 The Con @ The Spillway on your way in?

If you want to run the trail when it's hard go right after the snow-melts or there's still some on the trail it's very different than this time of year.

PS: No competitions are held on the Rubicon.
