Other Kodak Playsport camera mount.........................

I have been using my kodak playsport now for a year and its ok. I use if for the family stuff, and at the pool and beach. And I have taken a few times on the old 550 by stuffing it in my life jacket, but I wanted some better shots then my handle bar pad, so I rigged this up for my helmet. How do you guys think it will hold up? The helmet has threaded inserts, I dont they will fail, but I plan on puting a better tether on the camera to the helmet just incase.

thats the only thing I was thinking about how big it was, but I couldnt figure out how to mount it to the front of the helmet

Also rig a lanyard and a floatie as backups.

A bit of kiwi ingenuity which is n*gger rigging or redneck engineering to you Florida Boys...



The last photo does not have the lanyard or safety straps on it yet but is tried and tested.

Yep, first time you hit the water something is gonna give. If it doesn't snap off it'll be pointed at the sky.
