How did I get here?

I've lurked a bit and posted a bit, but here's a somewhat formal intro...
I'm very new to skiing. I bought my first ski (92 sea-doo xp) at the beginning of October this year and my standup (87 js550) at the end of October. The Sea-doo is now premix 50:1 and the 550 is premix 40:1. The 550 *very recently* started giving me fits with starting (detailed in another thread).
Before this year, I've never ridden a ski. On the 3rd day riding a stand-up, I was constantly standing. The second day was a mix of standing and kneeling. The first day was all sitting.
Anyways, Howdy all! I'll try my hardest not to piss anyone off.
