Kawi stator bad?

750sx no spark, coil ok wires ok, battery ok, switch ok
stator wires show:
blue/green = 280 ohms (normal = 400 - 600?)
red/purple = oo
brown/brown = oo
bad?:ugh2:

Pretty safe bet regrettably checking those with an ohm meter usually does not yield good results,the only foolproof way to test those is to replace it with a known good component.

OK so maybe the stator has gone a little bad

fried stator
chunks of metal inside flywheel (see arrow)
air cleaner is toast

stator and coil + old SJ coil all go off to JSS for rework:fingersx:

Whats the flywheel look like. Was it the bendix that let go or something else?

im just wondering what would cause that kind of damage. did the flywheel come loose or is the crankshaft having excessive play or did the stator just fall apart and then get caught up on the flywheel.

and made me a package deal
