Other Kawi 750 Cylinder with Extra Port towards bottom of sleeve..

Picked up a ski yesterday and I have never seen a cylinder like this...on both cylinders there is an extra intake port at the very bottom of the sleeve maybe an inch from bottom.

The cylinder looks to be a stock casting...only marking I found was a "9000" towards the top. Guy said he had dumped ALOT of money into the motor back in the day but had no clue what all was done.

I see that westcoast had a cylinder(supercylinder) out that had this similar port..but their cylinder blocks looked different than this one. Any input? I can get some pictures of it later this evening.

those are fuel transfer ports "boost ports" pistons should have holes in them that match up. or the transfer/charge wont happen, those are awesome for the low end snap! good for about 3hp per cylinder

they might be xir or sxi-pro cylinders wiseco makes the pistons
