kawasaki mojave 250

got a kawasaki mojave for free.Just needs new cam gears and timing chain.Any one had one of these?Are they decent four wheeler?

I bought one brand new when they hit the showroom floor the first year they were released I think in 88. I ordered a new 89 ninja the day I bought that thing and we worked out the paper work using that as a trade so I only got to ride it for 6 months then had to return it. I loved that thing best deal I ever made.

But I destroyed it in 6 months. Bent the axle twice tore the left front tire off where the a arm's attach to the frame. None of the brakes worked, plastic was distroyed, bars were bent, it need 4 new tires. I had to threaten them with a lawyer because we had already worked out a trade and they didn't say I couldn't ride the quad. LOL

They will hydroplane across water pretty nicely a great balanced quad but didn't jump too well. After I moved to 2 strokes it doesn't compare.

yeah i just want something to mess around on.Its seen better days for sure,i wish i had the money to rebuild it from the ground up.

get it running and you and keith come ride with me. its lonely in the woods here, none of my buds have bikes or quads anymore so im forced to ride alone off the water.
should be a fun quad and you can never go wrong with free!!!

sounds good man, i just about have my bike back together since my buddy flipped it the other day and broke a few things lol the bike wasnt to bad, he left with a broke foot and ankle ouch!!
