Kawasaki Flame Arrestor on Yamaha

Lately I've seen a lot of people interested in running the OEM Yamaha single flame arrestors. They are quite expensive to buy new and they go fast when offered used.

I was looking at my friend's Kawi 650 this weekend on which he has a 44 with the 4-bolt pattern and an OEM flame arrestor.

Except that it has the Kawi logo on it (nothing wrong with that, just a minor clash of mfgs), you may be able to use it on your SJ. Has anyone tried this?

Did I just make the value of Kawi OEM single flame arrestors go up?

Wow. A used Yamaha one just went for $60 + $10/shipping on eBay. Brand new is $75 for the top and bottom.

Thats going to be off of an 86 and up kawi 550 only if you are looking for one to fit a 44mm mikuni
