Kawasaki 750sx pisser flow - what is normal

Hey guys.

I have a 1993 750sx, and I have just noticed I have hardly any flow out the pisser. Over temp is currently bypassed, as this is how I bought it. Rest of the engine is stock.

I have a video here with the ski tied to the dock, and you can see how much is flowing out without the hose. With the hose attached, it just dribbles out the side pisser. Like you would need to focus on looking at it to notice if it was working. It is not a stream like on other skis. I have back flushed the pisser with air and water and it flows fine. Im guessing its supposed to be a little restriction to keep pressure a little higher. I also back flushed the hose that goes from the back of the ski to the engine.

But looking online at videos or other 750's being ridden, I see none of them have a stream pissing out, it must just be what is a dribble.

Lets assume the compression is good. When I last tested it (6 rides ago), it was 150 on both cylinders. The engine has been rebuilt at some point in its life. I will verify it later today when I unload it from the truck, and verify none of the pistons are steam cleaned.

Here is the video I took last night.

So is this safe to ride or should I have way more flow? I have also resealed the exhaust when I went to service the starter, and used copper rtv on the gaskets (applied very thin, not my first rodeo. I know a little goes a long way.) Gaskets are in proper orientation and none of them are drilled out.

Looks normal to me. The stock pisser hose is long and narrow, plus the hull fitting is tiny. The flush fitting on the head is threaded, I always screwed a barb in it and ran a second pisser to bypass some of the exhaust cooling. Net result is a cooler cylinder and warmer exhaust.

Mine dribbles like an old man.
Pisser line is tiny and temp monitor on bulkhead is restrictive
You're good

Thanks guys!

I ended up taking the pisser apart. There is a 90* fitting where the hose meets the pisser...that fitting is the massive restriction.
I have a 750sxi parts ski.....it used a slightly larger pisser hose and pisser fitting, I installed that so now I can easily see there is flow occurring.
