Just got my first look...

Just got my first look of the '94 701 SN I bought, so I'm pretty dang excited.

I won't see it in person until I take delivery at the Lone Star Freeride on March 17th.

Now, I'll be dreaming of footholds, hull reinforcing and paint. (Next winter of course).

The filter is fine, it's one of the older style that has an inner perferated aluminum cylinder that keeps it solid. it's been beat up by someone grabbing it by the mesh instead of the top or flange.

She may not be that pretty on the surface, yet, but that will change in about a year.

I rode that ski last summer before i purchaced mine (from RMBC)
it rides good.

Thanks, and thats saying alot... when you rode it there was an exhaust leak, the carb was crap (found a check valve in the fuel pump that was bad) and it was taking on alot of water and the cylinder was cracked! Its amazing it ran at all!

All of that is fixed now, it should rip!

take that air filter off PRONTO!

ive seen those things come apart and send strands of the mesh down into the cylinder... BOOM ! that one's looking a little rough around the edges already.

It's an air filter. lol

I still haven't figured out which end of the ski is the front.
