It rocks! :notworthy: Absolutely no hassles putting it all together - the holes for the hooks and latch were pre-drilled and perfectly placed. That mo-fo clamps down TIGHT! I'm using XMW hooks and it's all buttoned up tighter than a duck's arse. Looks like I'll have to get the Dremel out to trim the nose piece around the XMW bracket, but that's not too big a deal. All in all A+ so far for this hood.

Water test tomorrow, but the way the rim fits so perfectly into the stock seal, I can't see much water getting in there.

That the one thing about Wammer, you dont have to worry about the hood not fitting.............. He has it down to a science...... Time for a new hood design now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sweet, maybe I'll get some spy photos tomorrow in case he holds out on us. :sneaky: We will put it next to RD's slick black boat with the Wammer & the WDK Diablo hoods on Brian's & my boat. It will be a who's who of aftermarket hoods.

SJ, if you havent trimmed the nose piece already , think about grinding down a little bit of the pole bracket instead. This way you dont have to lose the rigidity of it. I ground down my nose pieces but saw someone in daytona who simply ground down some of the bracket and left the nose piece alone..
