I’ve been wanting one for years and finally got one. I’m beyond stoked! Just ordering a small list of stuff it needs. Dual bilge, turf and padding, cover, etc.
this forum has been an awesome resource.

Can you just use mountain bike grips instead of buying $30 grips?

As long as the ID of the grip mates well with the OD of the bars you could use those MTB grips. may want to check the hardware though as it might not be stainless. Ski seems to have some goodies. Interesting to see a tiny AM gas tank in a stock SJ hull.

Cool yeah I figured. It was hoping someone had some experience with them.
It came with the stock tank also that I’m swapping out.

I spent way too much money on what appeared to be a really clean superjet with lots of good surf mods. I've been chasing electrical gremlins for 2 weeks now.

What's crazy is the ski started right up in the guys shop I bought it from, but I have no idea how. Had to replace all the battery cables and the start/stop lead. Got it all dialed and it doesnt crank at all. Pull the starter motor and hook it up to car battery, just sparks. Im seeing a 2V drop across the solenoid too so I think Ill replace that, then reman starter from JM.
