have a 86 js550 and it starts up and runs fine until I stop. Then it has a hard time restarting . If it does restart I have to give it gas when im cranking it and all it does is sputters and blows out a lot of smoke. After awhile of that it will finally catch up to its self and take off, (it blows ALOT of smoke and water out when it takes off). It has the snb 44 carb on it. Ive heard of ppl talking about using some kind of t fitting in the cooling system. My cooling system is set up from the line in the hull to the fitting into the bottom of the cylinders then out the head to the exhaust manifold. Is that right?
