300/440/550 js 440 no power

i bought me a 1978 js 440 a month ago and early this week tried it out and it ran fine toping out at about 25ish and then the end of the week went out agin ran fine first half the day and then it lost all its power were it wont even get on top of the water. i tried cleaning the spark plugs they were nice golden brown so it is jetted right sprayed some carb cleaner in it then she ran fine for a minute then back down to nothing. i dont know much on jet skis but do have some know how on newer engines. just let me know what to try out.

it os all stock and i tood the carb apart and it was clean with all the diagrams still good. but as i was riding i did see some white gunk coming out from were the spacer goes in to the intake.
