Is this blaster a good deal????

there is a group of us in Tampa who ride blasters and sj's you could hook up with. I've got a set of bouys but I've never set them in the water... we are more into free riding than racing. We've collected more ski's than riders so we might be able to work out a loaner for you if needed.

If you are really into doing bouy's i'd be happy to throw them in my lake and we could ride. braaaaapppppp

I believe lee raced at tower lake last year which is very close to my house.

i've been reading about you guys over in the Gulf Coast Riders section on PWC Today. it sounds like you guys do a lot of riding at the Dunedin Causeway. i live down in indian rocks and i frequently run my boat up that way. i pretty much grew up on caledisi island. i'm looking forward to meeting you guys this summer. i definitely want to get some good surf riding in and if you guys want i have some bouys i can set up out there off caledisi/honeymoon.

by the way ive been meaning to start a thread in that section about some aerial photography. i do a lot of flying out of clearwater airpark and i'm always buzzing around the beaches. my girlfriend is really into photograpy especially when we go flying. if one of you all have a handheld radio i'd be willing to do some flyovers of you guys surf riding. i can circle the plane and slow it down enough to get some good aerial photos. i'm always looking to build hours so I might as well build them doin somethin fun like that.

anyways ill be back in clearwater in about 2 weeks so I'll just keep watchin that forum and meet up with you guys next time you're out.

that is right i remember that cruddy race site.

i do still have that boat, i am using the motor out of it now. now it is solid black no more graphics.

there are not many sport racers in florida, i do not know of any from your area. i am the only blaster racer i know of in florida, there may be others but i don't know them. believe it or not the ocean is the best training ground. you only need like 4 buoys out there.

that looked like a really nice boat. are you still interested in selling it. thats basically exactly what im looking for. i'm a huge fan of an all black blaster especially when you throw some exotic signs graphics on there. i'd probably just throw a 62t with a mod pipe, super bn's, and an ada head in it.

you never know, i will be selling one of my boats when and if i get the other mod hull. the black boat will be my backup boat once the new motor is done.

i have another all white boat with exotic graphics on it now for an ocean boat. it might be the one i sell, it is an ex greater yamaha race boat. handles really well, better than last years race boat.
but it is just a limited, but tj will be porting the cylinder soon.

there is 2 races your way in the summer one at the st. pete pier and one on the other side of the bay in tampa. i know i will head over to st. pete because it is a double points race.
i think it is mid july.

thats cool lee. im definitely looking to get something in the next two weeks so I can enjoy my last free summer as a "civilian". anyways if you were looking to sell one of your boats in the very near future I would be willing to drive down to you to pick one up, but I completely understand that you want to hang on to them. it sounds like you have put a lot of hard work into your blasters.

That sounds like a great Idea, I'd love to have some fly by shots :headbang:. My dad lives over in IRB also, that's cool. Yeah, we ride dunedin if there's waves. if not we ride at my house. your welcome to ride either place with us. I've got a rather large selection of ski's at the moment. some of them are on the way out though. If you're interested in a cheap modded square my brother is thinking of selling his.

I appreciate the offer. Actually I owned a limted blaster and a squarenose for about 5 years back in middle school/high school so I know how great they are. I bought this damn xp about a month ago thinking it would be similar to a blaster, but allow me to throw my girlfriend on the back and spend a day on the lake. Man was I wrong. That xp is no where close to what a blaster is. It is so far out of the blasters league. I'm not a big fan of sea doo's anyways. Its a great ski and in awesome condition, but its not a blaster so ive decided to sell it to get a blaster and sj.
