Is there a adapter t get stock FA to work with 48 mil carbs

I have full specs with the 48 mil tops that have no screw holes, would be cool to have a 48 mill spigot mount on the stock single fa anything like this around? I noticed x metal has stock FA on 49 mil full specs, anyone know how this is done

wammer makes them....they are pretty expensive though.....I would just take the stock f/a make the hole larger and weld a tube of the same or larger diameter than the carb to it....then you could use rubber hose and hose clamps to mate the carb and the f/a.....

teton, this is what I was thinking of,was hoping there was something out there to adapt that doesnt cost alot.

Does anyone have some stock single fa they could sell?

i'll take a picture of what i used on my BJ 44's. I took some FA adapters and bolted them up to my oem 44 boxes and used a rubber coupler to attatch the FA to the carbs. All it cost me was the used FA's plus the rubber hose and 4 clamps. It has worked great so far.

post pics,I think this is sim to what im thinking about, gonna have to weld a tube to bottom of stock fa in this case I believe

here is what i am using on 44's.

regular old 44 FA's that are bolted to the stock FA's. And using rubber hose to hold them to the carb tops.

good concept,Im not sure how those adapters would work with airflow on 48s,been awhile since I saw a set? is the internal size large inside,I got a set on some used 38s over a buds house I need to get to see

The adapters match the opening of the oem FA plate. I do not think there is much room to make that hole bigger since the 4 bolts go though that. This is probably why wammer makes a whole new bottom plate and just uses the box off the stock setup.

but either way i can't imagine a drastic lack of performance from using what i have on a set 48's

yea, youd have to cut and weld a tube to the bottom, this might be better for 48s,what size is the hole in a stock fa? about 44 mil or so?
