I'm might be buying a 440 with milled head coffman exhaust, and a solas impeller. The question is is it comparable to a 550 in power. i'm more in to freestyle would this be a good ski? thank you

if your into freestyle, id save up and get a SJ !

A good worked 440 can be a lot of fun and can rival a 550. It will never have the punch of a SJ but it will let you learn to ride a lightweight hull and learn "power management". If you learn to ride a 440 it will make a SJ feel like a barge and you'll have a very easy transition.

If it has a 440 pump it will not have as much punch down low as a 550 with a 550 pump would. I would not get a 440.
