I'm about to get some 44mm carbs and I already have a 38mm intake manifold. My question is, can this manifold be used as opposed to getting a 760 or aftermarket manifold? I know I can't just bolt it right up but thinking of alternatives.
Maybe cut an adapter plate that tapers down or possibly doing the taper plate and opening up the intake manifold a bit to ease the transition. The blocks on the bottom of the 38mm carbs would make excellent candidates for tapering.
