Just pulled off my intake grate and found that the company name was faced toward te pump on the inside, I was wondering if this is normal. It should it be flipped around so campany name is out giving it a little more scoop?

It's an R&D grate off my FX1. Not sure if it's stock or after market, it was on when I bought it

Well, I looked at a bunch of pics of R&D grates and some are stamped on the bottom and some are on the top (couldn't find an fx1). however, when the grate is installed it should pretty much be flush with the bottom of the ski (may stick down a few mm. There was a pic posted here where someone installed it upside down...
