Installing factory mod pipe into roundnose superjet

Thanks to mike(mile9c1), i got a factory bpipe for a great price.


Now, Any tips that i need to be aware of when installing this pipe in my ski, it seems like the chamber is dented in a few areas since it was a used chamber. Im getting my chamber jet hot coated, thats why im trying to fit the chamber first in the ski before I send it out to get coated. From what I see already from having the chamber in, it seems to fit fine for the most part, but it might rub up against a rib a little bit(no im not grinding down the rip and reinforcing), but nothing major. It clears the exhaust manifold and everything else.

I understand I have to cut stock rubber hose to install the pipe, but how much should I cut off?

with a round nose i dont cut the rubber exhaust hose.. its bigger than a square nose and "B" pipes were made for them.. if you do you need to come up with some kind of sleeve to keep the hose on.. factory pipe makes a 2 sized elbow..

grind down the rib just enough to clear, dont reinforce, since you dont want to

That's the going rate for a silicone elbow, I had to buy one local last year from a hose company, and it was $45.

I cut my stocker.....sorry I dont do $45 hoses unless i have too.

I just slapped in two hose clamps and said fruck it
