I searched.
sorry if this is a stupid question, but im a 701 newb. Im about to install these reeds and im sure its easy but im looking at the package and the reeds and im wondering if i ordered wrong or not enough. was i suposed to order a set for each cage? because the package came with 4 CF pedals and 4 fiberglass pedals, from what i know and cages ive seen, it seems like im 4 of each short.

after install does anyone have tuning tips?

ok thats what i hoped, but i didnt want to tear into my motor if i didnt have everything i needed because i plan on riding tomorrow. this is what threw me off, guy said they were for a superjet or waveblaster and it seems there are 8 pedals on each cage.....

i think the ones in the pic are 62t reeds and the 61x look a bit different.

i may be wrong though. worst case scenario you can go to WSM. its right out east by you. they carry boyesen reeds there.

they were the right ones... heres a pic of the old (left) and the new (right)
one of the 4 screw holding the reed stoppers on was stripped so 3 is going to have to do.

notice how much the dual stages raise the reed stoppers, plus the rev plate.
i noticed the old reeds were not stock, should i still have to tune for these? if so any pointers?

i don't think reeds make enough of a difference that you will need to tune. i would just run it and if you feel the need to turn a screw in or out 1/4 turn then go ahead.
