I'm starting a winter build on my FX-1 and could use some input on a few things (actually a lot of things) since I don't think I have ever tackled a project of this caliber before. Right now I am trying to decided if I should rocker the nose and relocate the pole bracket further forward. In the mean time I am also working on swapping in a superjet pump cavity from Tom21, wider tray, footholds, tubbies and wider rails.
My biggest concern right now lies in rockering the nose and relocating the pole bracket. I've added a quick sketch below to try and show the steps that I have thought of for the rocker. Again, I have never done anything like this before so feel free to pick my ideas apart.
In fear of trying to separate the decks and having the smc top fall apart I think this might be the only route to go (pie cutting both decks near the nose, folding it up and then glassing it in place).
Thoughts?
