Super Jet In tank pickups

Does any one sell pickups for the bottom of a fuel hose for inside the tank? Also, do you use just regular fuel line inside? And I'm gonna make a internal full using a yamaha gas cap, what do you use to seal the cap to the tank?

Search for "clunks" fuel pickups.

I use Tygon with mine but any fuel line will work. In fact, it's almost a good thing if the line hardens a bit so they don't flop around as much.

Perfect... I am gonna use the stock pickup hole for my fuel cap... then use the stock fuel inlet hole as my fuel pickups. I will just run enough hose so the reach the bottom. Gravity should take care of the shape of the hose as long as those pickups sink. What should i use as a sealer when i mount the gap cap to the tank? 5200?

I got a set of clunks from Jetmaniac way back when and yeah optima is a great place to go too. I've even used the straight barbed brass fittings that could thread into a girdled head.

atlanticjetsports has them too, be warned, internal fill only does get annoying fast if you ride surf or need to make multiple pit stops. its nice to get that extra bit of gas in the tank but annoying to pull the hood off everytime you fill up

Why wouldn't you just buy a nice Cold-Fusion internal fuel filler instead of trying to figure out how to build one? That new hull will thank you later.

You might even be able to find a used one.

Really gotta agree with Tomski on that. I was talking to a buddy the other day about how completely bitchin the Cold Fusion internal setup is. Especially on a BadAss. Edit:plus you get the killer anti siphon/screen filtered fuel pickups I mentioned. How ya been Tom?

FWIW, I did an expensive Wamiltons Internal fill on mine and then after 3 rides, cut a hole and installed an external fill. I cut both my ES and Carbon hulls to do this and would not hesitate to do it again.

External fill is so much more convenient. I kept my internal fill as well so now I have the best of both worlds.

I had internal on my X2 for a while. Internal fuel and front exhaust are two experiences I want to permanently eliminate from my life.
