I've never had an issue, always great service and awesome answers. Usually he talks me out of spending cash. Like on the Hooker compared to what I have now. It was cavitating, and he told me that what I had was fine, it was just a wet foam issue or something. He was right. It worked great in Daytona

Personally, I hate answering/returning phone calls but send me an email and I'll answer much sooner. When you are busy and multitask, emails are much easier to slip into a schedule.

Thats odd. Are you getting a Skat-Trak mag pump? Or is it a solas?
Does impros stock Skat mag pumps?
Impros almost always recommends solas. I'm not a fan of solas.

Maybe in more prosperous times but right now he doesn't stock either.

I sent Dave a good 144mm Yamaha Stator housing and he sent it to Skat for them to rework into their Mag pump. I shipped the stator 3 weeks ago, Skat started working on it back on monday and I'm expecting to hear it's done today. Add another week for shipping and it's been 4 weeks turnaround.

I'm getting the 144 Mag Setback Pump with an extended driveshaft. It comes with the tail cone and an impeller. Shaft is sold seperately and I believe when you buy them together, that it comes assembled with bearings installed.

I cannot disclose my price publicly but i promise that if you call Dave you will not be disappointed. :sneaky:

Skat wanted $1600 exchange, (I send them a stator), and another $500 for the extended driveshaft. Standard or setback pump is the same price and includes the nose cone and impeller of your choice.

They offer the pump in many ways. You can supply a stator, they can supply one for $100 extra or for extra bling you can also get X-Screams new Billet housing for $175.

Just talked to Dave, he's back in the office and playing catch up. He was sick all last week.

If you sent him an email last week you should get a response back today.

I got some clarity on the pump prices, The $1600 Skat quoted me included a $400 fee to build a matched wear ring which I declined and so could any of you. So if you send them just a stator to be reworked then your price is closer to $1200 for a 12 vein pump section, setback or non setback.
