Hi everyone, I'm new here. Just picked up a 87 650sx and a 93 550 on thursday. My wife and I are new to stand up skis and went for our first ride yesterday. Had a BLAST! Anyways, the 650 has a weird vibration when cruising at about 1/2 throttle. I looked at the impeller and it has chunks missing from the leading edges.. My question is, will this cause the vibration? it only does it while cruising. I pulled the pump and am going to send the impeller to impros to have them fix it. When I spin the impeller by hand it makes a whistling noise, not metallic, more like a rubber seal squeek. I also feel no play in the bearings. Should I have the pump rebuilt too?
